The B+ strain is celebrated for its adaptability, making it an excellent option for cultivators in various climates and growing conditions. B+ is known for producing large, dense fruits with caramel-colored caps and thick stems, offering a high yield potential. Its potency delivers a well-rounded and introspective experience, appealing to both novice and experienced psychonauts.
Order B+ mushroom spore syringes online from Psilocybin Circus. Here we have Mr. G’s gift to the world, the legendary B+ mushroom (it gets an A+ in our book). Along with Golden Teachers, these are the top strain we recommend for anyone just starting on their mycology journey, as they perform well even in less-than-ideal environmental conditions. B+ often demonstrates higher-than-average levels of psilocybin and psilocin compared with other cubensis (although not consistently).
Large caramel caps, thick veils, heavy spore production, and fruiting bodies so big your eyes may pop out of your head are all standard with B+.
Back to the mysterious Mr. G; he must have been a real G to create a strain like this (along with also creating Albino Treasure Coast, A Strain, and more), although the origins remain the subject of much debate (like pretty much everything else these days). The widely-held belief is that B+ is a unique hybrid of Psilocybe cubensis and Psilocybe azurescens.
This is such an epic combination (if it’s true) because it offers the best of both worlds – the easy-growing properties of the cubensis and the massive potency of the azurescens (generally very challenging to cultivate). B+ shares many qualities of both strains, so the theory is plausible (although scientifically unproven).
Specifications
B+ has caps with a gelatinous layer ranging from 25-75mm wide, dark red when young, and golden brown when mature. This strain reaches 200mm+ in height and is usually symmetrical (sometimes enlarged at the base).
The gelatinous pellicle on the cap (thin skin or film) appears to be unique to the B+ cubensis strain. When fruiting bodies are young, this gelatinous layer appears amber in color and will quickly oxidize to opaque blue-gray when removed. The texture of this film resembles a thin and stretched-out layer of gelatin.
B+ Mushrooms: From A+ to Z Strain
There is a whole alphabet’s worth of cubensis strains out there, all the way from Albino A+ to the Z Strain, but B+ is one of the most renowned strains of any Psilocybe variety, but still, it stirs debate among mycologists for various reasons. The fruiting bodies on B+ are known to be extremely large, and sometimes they are even too big (depending on the technique and substrate being utilized). In addition, B+ is somewhat prone to aborts (small mushrooms that never reach full size), although these baby fungi remain extremely potent by weight.
This strain rapidly colonizes most substrates but can sometimes stall for no apparent reason. For this reason, it often helps newer mycologists and researchers understand the importance of patience with this sort of research. People also argue about the potency of B+, but many agree that this cubensisoffer an A+ experience full of warmth, visuals, and spirituality.
A lot of the people that hate on B+ do so for the same reason some people claim to dislike bands like The Beatles – when everyone likes something, suddenly it becomes cool not to like it – even if there’s no apparent reason not to, and the thing in question is obviously fantastic. It’s just human nature.
Perhaps with some B+ mushrooms, you can become a chjota chijne.
“To access knowledge and become a chjota chijne there are several paths, including being chosen by the sacred mushrooms, popularly known as ‘holy children.’”
Chjota Chijne were Mazatec shamans who used Psilocybin mushrooms like B+ to heal others and communicate with sacred entities. Although, perhaps Mazatec mushroom spores would be a better place to start regarding this endeavor.
